, an East Bay Project / Construction Management firm specializing in public agency and nonprofit building and park projects, is seeking hands-on Assistant Project / Construction Managers, for projects in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.These positions are responsible for assisting with management of design and construction / closeout phases and as required during pre-construction phases, as well as providing process management support throughout for individual projects.
Qualified candidates must have experience with public agency projects, working on site during construction phases of projects, and with reporting / budgets / schedules.

Responsibilities include :
Supporting achievement of project goals and objectives
Executing work plans for successful project delivery
Working to achieve project schedules and communicating key tasks / milestones / deadlines to stakeholders
Monitoring / tracking project budgets
Attending project meetings and other meetings and providing meeting minutes
Coordinating with construction contractor and other project team member contracts
Monitoring / documenting on site work progress, compliance with contract requirements, safety and site conditions
Reviewing / monitoring / maintaining project records
Producing project correspondence as needed
Coordinating with third-party consultants and permitting agencies
Supporting a cohesive project team atmosphere
Supporting good client relationships
Qualifications :
5-8 years of experience in construction management / construction / architecture / engineering / general contracting
4+ years of experience providing services on active construction sites
Strong organizational and project management skills to meet schedules and deadlines
Capacity to work on multiple projects and support multiple clients, in a fast-paced environment
Ability to coordinate the needs / tasks of project team members (clients, designers, contractors, other consultants)
Excellent attention to detail
Strong skills with Excel, Word, MS Project, and Outlook
Degree in construction management, architecture or engineering highly desirable
