Civil Engineer

Job Summary :

Licensed Civil Engineers (PE's) are responsible for the planning, design, analysis, and oversight of infrastructure and construction projects. They ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client requirements while providing technical leadership across project phases.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare, review, and approve civil engineering designs, plans, and calculations.
• Lead and perform site development, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Sign and seal engineering documents as a licensed Professional Engineer.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting processes.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, environmental consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and CAD designers.
• Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings for construction compliance.
• Perform field inspections and provide engineering support during construction.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Apply knowledge of civil engineering principles to resolve complex design and construction challenges.
• Stay updated with industry codes, standards, and best practices to implement innovative solutions.
