Our VESPRO Staff is a close-knit team which is committed to providing quality and value-added services to its clients.

We are currently seeking candidates for a Full-time Civil Engineer / Water Resources Engineer.

Position Responsibilities :

Civil Engineer / Water Resources Engineer for Site Development, primarily Commercial Development, which would include Stormwater Drainage, Water and Sewer systems, and preparation of associated Reports. On Site Grading and Drainage and Water and Sewer Improvements. Coordination with review agencies for review and approval.

Requirements :

• Arizona Professional Civil Engineer Registrant.
• Requires ability to assess person-hour estimates for self and staff completing elements of the project including design, reports, and preparation of construction drawings.
• Must have skills in site development including Site Grading and Drainage and Water and Sewer lines
• Proficiency in using software for Stormwater Hydrology / Hydraulics, Pressure Pipe Distribution Systems, Gravity Collection and Force main for Sewer using such programs as, HEC-1, HECRAS, FLO-2D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and Flowmaster. Also, design of Sewer Lines and Water Distribution Systems.
• Attention to detail, diligence, and mindfulness.
• Excellent and professional verbal and written internal and external communication skills in English.
• Proficiency of use and design tools in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2021 or newer, in production and / or Supervision and review of Civil Engineering Construction Drawings, very helpful. It is not expected that an individual in this position would produce Construction Drawings, which would be provided by support CAD staff; however, ability to work in AutoCAD to make revisions, prepare exhibits, utilize AutoCAD features associated with Drainage, Water, and Sewer systems, and complete drawings is very helpful.
• Proficiency in creating exhibits and tables for inclusion in Drainage, Water, and Sewer Reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products including Word and Excel
• Proficiency in Adobe or Bluebeam
