Responsibilities include working with pediatric outpatient patients presenting a variety of diagnoses. Skills required include acute care and outpatient clinic experience in pediatrics. Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred. The position requires the ability to work with patients ranging from birth to adolescence. Common patient diagnoses include prematurity, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, oral aversion, ADHD, and coordination impairment. Special procedures involve a multidisciplinary approach encompassing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Daily productivity is targeted to achieve 60%. Candidates must be willing to work holiday shifts as needed. Additional administrative tasks may be involved related to patient care.
