Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse!
Lexington Country Place is actively looking for dedicated LPNs to enhance our resident care team. In this crucial role, you will report directly to the Director of Nursing and play an essential part in the daily health and wellbeing of our residents.
Available Shifts :
- 7am-7pm; every other weekend required
- 7pm-7am; every other weekend required
- PRN shifts available
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor residents' health and provide leadership support in delivering exceptional care.Administer medications accurately while maintaining clinical quality assurance.Collaborate with the Wellness Director to assess evolving resident needs and complete monthly wellness updates.Collect vital signs and assist with direct resident care as needed.Qualifications :
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.At least one year of experience in elder or disabled individual care is preferred.Demonstrated leadership capabilities and knowledge of assisted living and dementia care.Availability for weekends, evenings, and flexible hours to meet resident needs.Skills and Abilities :
Familiarity with infection control procedures and state regulations.Proficient in MS Office and effective time management skills.Exceptional documentation and grammar skills.Understanding of advanced directives and end-of-life care.Physical Requirements :
In an 8-hour workday :
Stand / Walk : 4-6 hours total, with 0-2 hours at one time.Sit : 2-4 hours total, with 0-2 hours at one time.Drive : 30-60 minutes, 1-2 times a week.Manual Work :
