JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Operator I is responsible for transporting, loading, unloading, and storing materials and equipment within the facility. This role supports production and shipping operations, ensures inventory accuracy, and maintains a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain production schedules or shipping orders and transport materials accordingly
- Load and unload goods from trucks or aircraft
- Move goods packed on pallets, crates, and totes within the storage facility
- Stack goods in designated storage bays following inventory control instructions
- Check loads for accuracy and secure transport
- Stack empty pallets and miscellaneous materials as assigned
- Perform daily equipment checks including battery recharging and lubrication
- Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Use computers for communication and Computer-Based Training as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- May be required to use RF scanner gun
