Job descriptionWork in a large acute care academic hospital with 366 beds Operating Room setting covering a broad range of specialties including ENT, eyes, general surgery, total joints, neuro / spine, OB-GYN, ortho, plastics, robotics, thoracic, trauma, and vascular cases Responsibilities include both circulating and scrubbing Patient population is primarily adults, with some pediatrics Shifts vary Monday through Friday, including 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm, 9 : 30am-6 : 00pm, and 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm, as department needs require Cerner EMR experience preferred Travelers are required to complete online training modules prior to assignment start Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate Scrub attire is required in the operating room Assignment may involve working with both adult and pediatric surgical teams Previous employees may need to complete an eligibility review process before rehire Active CT or compact state RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN required Two professional references from the past year in specialty from a manager or higher are required High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
