We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Platt team in Chico, CA! Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies in the United States. Rexel USA operates its electrical distribution business in the United States through eight regions that go to market under various banner and trade names, including Rexel, Rexel Automation, Gexpro, Mayer, and Platt Electric Supply. In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S.

Summary : The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the branch and is acting manager in the absence of the Branch Manager. Responsible for inventory management, accounts payable, vender returns, equipment and vehicles, and the overall safety of the branch.

What You'll Do :

• Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the branch and is acting manager in the absence of the Branch Manager
• Responsible for Inventory Management to include cycle counting, daily stock replenishment, inventory adjustments, and stocking codes and locations
• Responsible for the overall safety of the branch by reporting, monitoring, and correcting safety hazards
• Provide customer service at the counter or over the phone
• Maintain company vehicles by scheduling maintenance and repairs
• Assist the Branch Manager with coaching and supporting employees
• Train employees
• Provide Sales support through quotations
• Maintain a clean and organized branch
• Other duties as assigned
