As a Locum MD in Hematology Oncology you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancer. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Perform procedures related to hematology and oncology care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in hematology and oncology
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

Schedule : Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts) or Monday-Thursday (10-hour shifts)

No call or weekends required

Setting : 98% outpatient

Daily Volume : 15-20 outpatients 1-3 inpatient consults

Patient Population : Adults

60 / 40 med / onc split

Support Staff : APPs

EMR : Meditech

Must be board-certified
