As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Channahon, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for regularly monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns, keeping in mind the unique environment of a manufacturing and industrial location.

Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support the overall security-related needs of the site.

Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and communicate any findings or issues to the appropriate personnel.

Remain alert to changing site conditions and adapt patrols and responses to meet the needs of a dynamic manufacturing and industrial environment.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
