As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within an educational environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and report observations as needed.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials as required by site-specific policies.Support emergency response efforts by communicating with appropriate personnel and following established procedures for the location.Provide information and directions to students, staff, and visitors as needed, promoting a welcoming atmosphere.What We're Looking For :

Customer service experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
