Equipment Operator I

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join their team. As an Equipment Operator I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting order picking, packing, inventory management, and receiving. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Equipment Operator I

Location : Carol Stream, IL

Pay Range : $16.29

Shift : Sunday through Thursday, 8 : 00 PM to 4 : 30 AM

What's the Job?

  • Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to select and transport products within the warehouse
  • Use Sysco Order Selection (SOS) technology to label and palletize products accurately
  • Stage pallets for loading at designated dock locations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
  • Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 months' warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts preferred
  • Ability to work in environments with temperature and humidity variations, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to read and write clearly
