AERMOR is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance III who will provide advanced technical expertise in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic systems in support of U.S. Navy Navigation programs and other defense-related projects. The individual will work independently or in a supervisory capacity to ensure that all systems meet operational and safety standards, maintaining optimal functionality and readiness of mission-critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic and navigation systems and associated components.
- Conduct system checkout, calibration, and verification to ensure proper functionality and compliance with technical specifications.
- Apply advanced diagnostic techniques to isolate faults and implement corrective maintenance procedures.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Supervise maintenance teams and ensure adherence to established shop practices, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and subsystems, including inspections and component-level repairs.
- Document maintenance activities, repair actions, and test results accurately and in accordance with Navy and DoD standards.
- Support installation projects onboard ships or shore facilities, including cable routing, equipment mounting, and system integration.
- Train junior technicians in maintenance procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate with engineers and program leads to identify and resolve technical issues affecting system performance.
Qualifications :
Eight (8) years of practical experience in electronics repair, maintenance, installation, and checkout.Six (6) years of experience working with U.S. Navy Navigation Systems.Two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience, including oversight of shop operations or maintenance teams.Three (3) years of hands-on experience in electronics repair and installation (may be concurrent with other experience).Strong understanding of electronic theory, test equipment operation, and troubleshooting procedures.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, wiring schematics, and circuit diagrams.Experience adhering to military and safety standards in maintenance and repair environments.Powered by JazzHR
