Salary Range : $26–$31 per hour

Employment Type : Full-time, On-site

About the Role

Legendary Home Services is seeking a detail-driven HR & Payroll Specialist to manage critical day-to-day human resources and payroll operations for a growing team of 200+ employees. This position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, supporting recruiting efforts, and managing workers’ compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management : Process weekly payroll for 200+ employees, ensuring accuracy with wages, deductions, commissions, and reimbursements.

Onboarding Coordination : Manage all first-day setup steps for new hires, including I-9 verification, HRIS setup, benefits enrollment, and orientation communication.

Recruiting Support : Post openings, review applications, schedule interviews, and assist with offer letters and pre-employment screenings.

Offboarding : Coordinate termination processes including final pay, benefits termination, and exit documentation.

Workers’ Compensation : File, track, and manage workers’ compensation claims; communicate with employees, managers, and insurance representatives.

HR Administration : Maintain employee records in UKG and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Reporting & Compliance : Generate routine reports on headcount, payroll, and compliance documentation as needed.

Qualifications

2+ years of HR or payroll experience (multi-state or high-volume preferred).

Working knowledge of employment law, payroll processing, and workers’ compensation procedures.

Experience using an HRIS / payroll system (UKG strongly preferred).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
