Title : Product Development Engineering Technician II
Location : Covington, GA
Note : This is a W2 contract role – C2C & 3rd party candidates WILL NOT be considered
This advanced technician role supports early-stage product development and prototyping. Ideal candidates for this role will have hands-on experience with electronics, instrumentation, and software tools to assist in building and testing innovative medical devices.
Position Responsibilities :
- Design and build prototype systems using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms
- Develop and execute test setups involving sensors, actuators, and data acquisition systems
- Use LabVIEW or similar software for automated testing and data logging
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in prototype systems
- Specify and source instrumentation, as needed, to implement test procedures
- Interface with engineering teams to refine designs and test plans
- Maintain and calibrate lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, pressure sensors, etc.)
- Document test results and provide technical feedback to support design iterations
