Blue Valley Community Action Partnership is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Family Advocate to join our Thayer County Head Start / Early Head Start program in Hebron, NE . This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families in our community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct home visits
  • Coordinate family engagement strategies and activities to achieve family and child goals.
  • Recruit children and families for ongoing full enrollment.
  • Monitor outcomes, make referrals, serve as an advocate for families
  • Collaborate with community partners

    • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be willing to obtain required Home Visitor credential.
  • Must be willing to submit to required background checks with no adverse findings
  • Have acquired a high school diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid Driver's License
  • Obtain CPR and First Aide Certification
  • General Computer Skills
