Opportunity : RN - OR ICU / SICU Job Details : - Work 12-hour shifts : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM - 13-week assignment length - Rotating weekend schedule - 36 guaranteed hours per week - No call requirements - Minimum 2-3 years ICU experience required - Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification - Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted) - MICU & MSICU background preferred - Meditech charting / order entry experience preferred - Float to other units as needed per hospital floating policy - Perform procedures including chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes - Use Meditech documentation system - Badge in and out for shifts required with full 30-minute lunch break - Clock in time 6 : 38 AM / PM (after 6 : 45 AM / PM considered tardy) - Dress code : Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket - Maintain clean and neat appearance with hair and nail requirements - Cover visible tattoos when possible; visible piercings other than ears prohibited Facility : This healthcare facility has been providing high-quality care to patients from San Antonio and around the world for more than 50 years.
