Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an HVAC Service Technician at a full-service home services company located in Hurley, NY. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers. The role also includes system installations — both replacements and new setups — across residential properties. In addition, the role will include plumbing services, especially in relation to water heating systems and boiler units.

Key responsibilities include :

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC systems and water heaters
• Troubleshoot and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct system inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Install new HVAC systems, replacements, and components as needed, including furnaces, A / C units, heat pumps, and mini splits
• Install new plumbing for residential new construction projects, especially for water heating and HVAC-related piping
• Collaborate with the plumbing team for cross-functional repairs or system upgrades involving HVAC and water systems
• Clearly communicate findings, repairs, and system recommendations to customers in a professional, friendly manner
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
• Provide on-call or after-hours support when needed, especially during peak seasons

This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Pay range : $15.50–$30.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and skill level.

We’re open to both entry-level candidates and experienced technicians. Starting rate depends on your training, hands-on experience, and credentials like EPA certification or a CDL license.
