ROLE DESCRIPTION :
Candidate will serve as a clinical software developer and resource for the company and will work closely with a team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, both on-site and remotely. Responsible for the development and maintenance of existing and future software systems to complex user interfaces for the Companys CT and other medical device products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Perform all phases of software development : requirements, design, implementation, verification, and release, which include manufacturing testing and support
- Windows WPF and Unity development
- Implementation of advanced Unity concepts such as mobile, AR, VR, computer vision, etc.
- Assist in developing new, innovative product from the ground up
- Consider user experience implications and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely within a small development team to troubleshoot development & production environments, performance tune, and optimize embedded systems
- Work in a team environment that encourages respectfully receiving and giving constructive criticism
- Develop and execute test procedures
- Develop supporting design documentation
- Provide regular status reports, written and / or verbal, to cross-functional project team members

- Work individually with minimal supervision and as part of team of engineers
- Keep knowledge of all NeuroLogica products up-to-date
- Required to wear dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices
- Operate mobile CRT scanner after training and follow all safety policies and procedures
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BS in Computer Engineering3+ years of working experience in the medical device industries3+ years of developing clinical GUI in Windows forms and WPF3+ years experience working within Unity including 2D UI development, Unity plug-ins and advanced features.Familiar with DICOM images rendering (include OpenGL)Excellent skills in C# programming requiredExperience in Git and CollabProficient understanding of basic core concepts within computer scienceProficient understanding of object-orientated programmingExperience writing multi-threaded applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skills with clinical teams and customersSkills and experience that would be a plus to have :Principal responsibility for 1 or more published and demonstrable projects.Experience with medical device softwareExperience working in an embedded software environmentExperience with online document control systemsExperience with ISO, FDA and CMDR Awareness trainingCOMPUTER & ANALYTICAL SKILLS
