We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring timely billing, collections, and accurate financial reporting across our hospitality operations.
We are seeking candidates with proven restaurant or hospitality experience; applicants without such experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable process for multiple hospitality locations, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts, including direct communication with clients and event partners.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments, deposits, and adjustments.
- Work closely with the operations and events teams to coordinate billing for group events, catering, and venue rentals.
- Prepare and maintain detailed AR reports, including weekly and monthly reconciliations for management review.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring AR accounts are accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with external vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of all AR transactions and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in AR workflows.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in hospitality, retail, or service industries.Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and collections.Proficiency with accounting software and Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Margin Edge; experience with POS or hospitality management software is a plus.Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.What We Offer
