About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required in a medical surgical unit.

License : Valid state license required at the time of submission.

Certifications : BLS required; NIHSS preferred.

Must-Have :

• Skills in Med / Surg nursing, colostomy care, and feeding tube management.
• Pre / Post Hemodialysis management expertise.
• Proficient in accessing ports and administering blood products.
• Experience in managing PICC lines, heparin, and insulin administration.
• Familiar with handling chest tubes, CPAP / BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula.
• Capable of non-invasive airway management and oral suctioning.
• Knowledge of oxygen administration and tracheostomy management.
• Understanding of isolation precautions.

Description :

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a medical surgical unit.

The candidate must have skills in handling a variety of procedures and patient care scenarios.

Experience with colostomy care and feeding tube management is essential.

The nurse will be required to manage pre / post hemodialysis cases efficiently.

The role includes responsibilities for accessing ports and administering various blood products.

Candidates should have expertise in PICC line management and medication administration, including insulin and heparin.

Familiarity with chest tube management and non-invasive ventilation methods is crucial.

Experience in isolation precautions and patient assessments is necessary.

The nurse will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Shifts are 12 hours with scheduled weekend coverage every third weekend.
