Responsibilities
- Assess oncology patients' symptoms and make suggestions and recommendations on individual treatment plans
- Update patient records using electronic medical records
- Work closely with oncologists for any changes in symptoms or individual treatment plans
- Medication Management
- Symptom Management
- Conduct physical examinations
- Comply with all HIPAA laws regarding patient confidentiality
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferredBachelor's degree of Science in NursingNP-focused Masters degreeSuccessfully passed a National Nurse Practitioner board certification examPrevious experience working within oncology in a clinical setting, highly preferredOncology certification a plusDrug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and license, preferredAnticipated salary range : $145,000 - $175,000
