LOCATION : 250 Miller Place Hicksville NY 11801

HOURS : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm; Monday to Friday

FULL TIME : Benefits Eligible

HOURLY RATE : $20-$25 / hr

In this role you will :

Answer and address client questions regarding cyto and pathology questions

Prepare follow up documentation and letters for abnormal PAPs

Scan consultation reports into NovoPath and Antrim

Process physician and patient slide requests and send outs

Log pathological specimens and verifies completeness of information

Perform monthly statistical reports

Transcribe gross descriptions for cytology / pathology specimens

Maintain pathologist licensing information

All you need is :

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associates Degree preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Word Office and (specifically) Excel

Ability to type and demonstrate proficiency and accuracy

Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Ability to problem solve and multitask

Strong organizational skills

Strong customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
