Job Purpose :
The Sales Manager is an established position within a high volume regulated Medical and Adult-use licensed Manufacturer of Infused Products. The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales team and ensuring they meet the sales goals established by the General Manager whilst working compliantly within state and federal regulatory framework.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create and manage Sales Team work schedules.
- Establish daily quotas for customer contacts.
- Establish Sales Territories and assign to sales team members
- Ensure CRM is regularly updated and that sales team is logging customer contacts daily in order to meet daily quotas.
- Update inventory in Leaflink daily as new product is ready to ship.
- Review Sales data in leaflink and make sure sales team is adhering to order fulfillment times, established prices, established territories.
- Help facilitate farm flower sales using inventory system to catalogue available inventory.
- Work with inventory / Fulfillment manager to create and maintain Order fulfillment schedule, resolve any inventory issues related to sales orders.
- Work closely with General Manager to be aware of any production constraints or other manufacturing bottlenecks that may affect product offerings, available capacity to offer toll processing, order fulfillment time, etc
- Analyze market trends to stay current on prices, products with increased demand, etc in order to leverage our position in the markets
- Create and implement incentives and sales contests
- Work with Manager of processing to facilitate packaging of special orders
- Work with Office Manager to maintain accounts receivable status for clients and helping facilitate collection efforts
- Prepare monthly commission reports and transmit to payroll. Supply sales reports to CEO.
- Prepare sales projections and work with General Manager and Farm manager to strategize farm harvesting to ensure adequate dry and fresh frozen material in order to meet projections
- Conduct weekly sales meetings with Sales team and CEO.
- Attend Weekly Admin and manager meetings
- Be available outside of normal work hours to remedy situations that arise out of unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, and to answer any questions that the sales team might have as they arise
Working Conditions :
Office Environment. Must wear required PPE, including mask, hairnet and lab coat when on production floor. May occasionally require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Supervision Received :
Reports to General Manager and CEO as required.
Supervision Exercised :
Ensures Sales Associates are fulfilling obligations of their roles
Direct Reports :
Sales associates are fulfilling obligations of their roles.
Minimum Experience Requirements :
1 Year METRC Administration with knowledge of Employee privileges, package and item creation, package adjustments, including waste and processing loss.2 years managing sales teamIntermediate MS Excel, MS Word and Google sheets skills including knowledge of basic formulas and graphing.Preferred Experience Requirements :
4 Years sales team management.2 Years METRC Administration with knowledge of Employee privileges, package and item creation, package adjustments, including waste and processing loss. Experienced with conducting inventory audits and using report generation functions2+ years Hydrocarbon extraction and Short path Distillation experience2+ years Cannabis Cultivation ExperienceIntermediate-Advanced MS excel, MS Word and Google Sheet skills including creation of Queries and Pivot tables and VBA KnowledgeCompetent and familiar with iSolved HCM or similar.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Minimum Education Requirements :
