Urology Physician at Orlando Health Medical Group summary :

The Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking a Urologist specializing in Pelvic Floor Reconstruction to join a dedicated team in Central Florida. The position involves working within a large Urology group at Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital, with opportunities for both general and robotic surgical procedures. The Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced Urologist that specializes in Pelvic Floor Reconstruction to join a team of skilled and committed Urology professionals. Orlando Health Medical Group Urology has a dedicated team of 20 Urologist that take care of patients across Central Florida. The opportunity is located at Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital in Winter Garden, Florida.

Role Requirements :

Completion of an accredited Urology residency program and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction fellowship.
FPMRS (Fellowship Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery) preferred but not required.
Board Certified / Board Eligible in General Urology and Female Pelvic Reconstruction.
FL Medical License or ability to obtain one.
Not a J-1 sponsored position.

Practice Highlights :

Established Urology hospitalist program since 2016; work as an integral part of a large Urology group practice with twenty Urologist.

Work closely with the Urogynecology team at Orlando Health

Schedule : Monday Friday with dedicated robotic time. Opportunity to perform general, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures.

Call minimum of 5 days a month with the opportunity to pick up additional call.

Office space is within walking distance to Orlando Health Horizon West

Outpatient procedure suite

A 60-bed acute-care hospital with room to grow to 120-beds the facility offers a full complement of services including heart care with full cardio-diagnostic capabilities, digestive health, emergency care, outpatient imaging and lab, orthopedic and sports medicine, reflux and esophageal disorders, and surgical services with specialties in general, thoracic, podiatric, orthopedic, advanced gynecological and minimally invasive robotic surgery.
