Culinary Recruiter

Rocky Top Catering is seeking a dynamic Culinary Recruiter to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone with a strong culinary background who is looking to transition into a new career path within talent acquisition. As our Culinary Recruiter, you will leverage your industry knowledge and network to identify, attract, and hire top culinary and hospitality talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Rocky Top Catering at job fairs, culinary schools, and community events, building relationships and promoting our brand as an employer of choice.
  • Source and recruit culinary professionals across all levels, from line cooks to leadership roles, using creative methods and industry connections.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process : from job postings and resume screening to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with chefs, managers, and HR to understand staffing needs and create strategic recruitment plans.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records in compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Partner with culinary schools, hospitality programs, and professional networks to develop talent pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Culinary or hospitality background required (restaurant, catering, or related experience).
  • Interest in pursuing a career in recruitment or HR, with a passion for connecting people with opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and represent our brand.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel locally for recruiting events.
