Job descriptionKnowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, electrical, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting skills Ability to read electrical schematics and print drawings Electrical wiring experience Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed. Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Ability to operate a forklift Effective communication skills Attention to detail; able to recognize, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Bilingual a plus (Spanish) High school diploma or equivalent required. Maintenance experience required. Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance. Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed. Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds at a time.
Job Summary :
The Maintenance Technician will oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
- Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules, such as Installation of Extrusion & Thermoforming Equipment
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Daily and weekly Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- GMPs and SQF compliance are required.
