Manufacturing Engineer with Security Clearance

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Engineer. Position Type : Full time Contract, Possible Contract to hire.

Duration : 12months Location : Rochester, NY (Onsite) As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for :

• Perform tasks in a manufacturing and / or prototyping environment.
• Review and provide feedback on electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical drawings and designs.
• Translate drawing requirements into detailed work instructions for the assembly, integration, and testing of complex end-products.
• Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure program schedule milestones are met.
• Own product schedule development - coordinate across disciplines to ensure agreement amongst stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues individually and collaboratively to find quick and safe solutions that minimize schedule delays.
• Balance multiple projects and priorities and communicate clearly to operations leadership.
• Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices. Preferred Additional Skills :
• Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
• Familiarity with machinery, machine building, and precision engineering.
• Experience with Optical Metrology.
• Knowledge of mechanical builds and tolerances, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Ideal candidates will :
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
