Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Referral Coordinator for a primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient referrals to specialists, ensuring accurate and timely processing of referrals, verifying insurance, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers. The candidate will also assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records related to referrals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a referral coordination role or similar healthcare setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
• Familiarity with insurance verification and referral processes
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• BLS certification (preferred)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, no weekends or holidays

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: $18-22/hr
