• Provide bedside nursing care for medical-surgical patients of all ages
• Maintain nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 5, occasionally 1 : 6 during emergent surgeries
• Work with 20 rooms containing 35 beds total
• On-call may be required during low census periods
• Weekend shifts required
• Flexible scheduling to help fill gaps - no guarantee of block or set schedule
• Float to ER, postpartum, and stepdown units as needed (assisting only, no patient load)
• Utilize equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Hill-rom beds and call systems, Kangaroo pumps, and Quadramed Pyxis
• Minimum 2 years medical-surgical experience required
• Wyoming RN state license required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• No specific dress code color requirements
• Orientation includes HR and education day 1, restraint training day 2, shadow 1 shift then independent work
• Facility allows up to 24 hours of call-offs per 13-week contract
