Senior Network Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a federal program supporting a cutting-edge program. This is an on-site job opportunity located in San Diego, California. The Senior Network Engineer will support the Joint Fires Network with network and hardware implementation, as well as system support in a battle command environment. This is supporting a long-term program and requires an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Responsibilities for the Senior Network Engineer:

• Support prototype deployment, network implementation, and installations of JFN systems

• Develop network solutions and maintain compute hardware

• Utilize software development management tools Jira and Confluence, and support DODAF and Digital Twin best practices

• Act as senior engineer focused on JFN hardware and network support for Battlespace Management and Command Control

Required Qualifications for the Senior Network Engineer include:

• + years of experience with Network Engineering

• Preferred experience with a command and control environment, DODAF, and Jira/Confluence

• Active TS/SCI Clearance and ability to obtain polygraph

• Bachelor's Degree
