Montare Behavioral Health is a Residential Treatment Center located in Phoenix Arizona, and we are currently looking for Mental Health Workers!
This position is responsible for providing direct service to clients, and for facilitating the smooth day-to-day operation of the program. This position collaborates as a member of the treatment team to deliver effective treatment.
AVAILABILITY : We are currently looking for the following
- 12 hour shifts, 7am-7 : 30pm (3 days)
- 12 hour shifts : 7pm-7 : 30am (3 nights)
- Per diem 12 hour shifts- 7am-7 : 30pm & 7pm-7 : 30am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build rapport and provide support to clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries at all timesReview treatment plan goals with clients regularly and provide support in accessing community resourcesConduct and document rounds to ensure client safety and well-beingObserve clients self-administer prescribed medication and assist with medication room managementTransport and attend offsite activities with clients including recovery meetings, appointments and therapeutic outingsPrepare and facilitate groups as assigned and lead clients in organized activitiesProvide effective crisis intervention and support to team membersTeach independent living skills effectively and monitor activities of daily living completionDemonstrate active listening skillsUtilize individualized approach to client servicesProvide information (verbally and in the communication log) to staff during shift transitionBe aware of and eliminate stressors in the facilityIdentify, prioritize, and resolve problems accurately and efficientlyManage program to ensure clients feels safe and secureManage time effectively to carry out daily job dutiesEnsure facility is clean, safe and in compliance with licensing requirements.Complete all charting, program documentation, medication management, incident reports and other forms / reports as requested according to company policiesComplete at least 20 hours of continuing education per yearQualifications
At least 18 years of age.High School graduate or possess a GED. Coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred .Experience working with in Mental Health preferred .Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player. Excellent communication skills both oral and writtenValid driver's license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance.Pre-Employment Requirements
Hiring is contingent upon completion of a background check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire. A dditional requirements include receiving DOJ / FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
