The job involves collaborating closely with the Vice President of the Northeast Region and broader BD teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities. It also requires developing and executing marketing and growth strategies focused on financial performance and client satisfaction. The role includes researching and targeting public and private sector clients in education, healthcare, affordable housing, and civic infrastructure. Additionally, it involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, tracking industry trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project leads in the Mid-Atlantic region, and supporting preconstruction and proposal teams with insight, strategy, and competitive feedback.
The successful applicant should have 4-5 years of business development experience with a General Contractor or Construction Management firm, a strong understanding of public-sector work, ideally with familiarity in K-12 schools, affordable housing, healthcare facilities, and recreational centers, demonstrated experience supporting pursuits ranging from $200K to $100M, exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills, and a self-starter who enjoys collaboration, fast-paced environments, and relationship building.
