Trailer Mechanic

The Trailer Mechanic performs required inspections and maintenance (corrective and preventative ) on trailers and equipment within planned time tolerances to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of the fleet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on all trailers, converter dollies, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment in accordance with all federal, state, and local legal and regulatory agencies (includes all state-required inspections and frequencies)
• Conduct all levels of preventive maintenance functions, such as regular servicing of trailers. Including trailer repairs and equipment inspections.
• Electrical diagnostics, repair, and replacement.
• Utilize the company’s maintenance system to create / maintain / complete work orders and vehicle maintenance records.
• Lead and / or assist with the physical parts purchasing, inventory, receiving, and proper charge out of parts to work orders
• Performs general cleaning and repair duties

Requirements :

Pay : $30.00 - $35.00 per hours Exact pay depends on experience, skills, location, etc.
