Job Purpose
We are seeking an on-site, detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and drive accurate, profitable project bids. In this role, you will analyze costs, solicit vendor and subcontractor pricing, and work closely with internal teams to provide the knowledge necessary for strong business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project documents, drawings, specifications, addendums, and RFIs to determine complete scope of work.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to review project scope and provide required RFIs.
- Develop sign counts and material take-offs in accordance with code and regulatory requirements.
- Build comprehensive costing through vendor quotes, material pricing, and subcontractor inputs.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure accuracy of pricing.
- Prepare complete, detailed, and timely estimates to meet bid deadlines.
- Review estimates for technical accuracy and completeness.
- Document inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications clearly in all proposals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and front-end documents.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proper English usage, grammar, and punctuation.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a self-driven, collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and estimating software.
- Cultural awareness and flexibility in working with diverse teams.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 3 years relevant estimating experience.
- Minimum 3 years estimating experience in construction trades, signage, millwork, or ornamental metal preferred.
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and ability to maintain auto insurance coverage.
