Position overview :

The Server prepares food orders and serves meals or beverages to residents, and coordinates kitchen activities.

Responsibilities :

Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress.

Promotes our community positively and effectively communicates the organization’s values to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the community.

Take food and beverage orders from residents.

Ensure residents are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.

Prepare coffee barista drinks, specialty drinks and food orders.

Maintaining a clean service area.

Make sure supplies are stocked and notify the Director of Culinary Services when supplies are low.

Ensuring resident satisfaction through dining room cleanliness.

Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned.

Supports the mission, core values and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.

Completes all hours of state-mandated continuing education each year.

Promotes and displays a spirit of teamwork in the performance of daily duties through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent.

Food service experience preferred.

Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred

Exceptional customer service skills.

Must have a strong understanding of the English language, sufficient to speak, read and write.
