Job Summary
Make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families. Potential candidates must love pets, be compassionate, have a clean driving record, and be able to work independently without direct supervision. Must be able to communicate with pet family members about what is best for their pet.

Prior grooming experience required. Pet handling skills is beneficial but not necessary as we will train you to safely handle pets for their benefit and yours. Our groomers develop a close and special relationship with every pet they care for and with their families as well. Generous commissions and excellent tips provide an outstanding income opportunity and the chance to turn your love of pets into a career that can support you for a lifetime. Earn up to $1,750.00 or more per week.

SHIFTS: 10-hour DAY SHIFT (PT available)
Business Operating Hours: 8-6pm M-Sat
Business Service Area: South Aurora, Centennial, DTC, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Ken Caryl

Responsibilities

• Dependable with strong time management and organizational skills
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build trusting relationships with clients
• Assess pet's skin and coat for health concerns; provide advice to owners as needed
• Communicate grooming needs, service updates, and delays clearly to clients
• Utilize gentle handling techniques ensuring pets are comfortable and stress-free
• Clean and sanitize all tools, equipment, and grooming van after each service
• Maintain a tidy, organized workspace that adheres to hygiene standards
• Recommend additional services and rebooking to clients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years professional grooming experience in a salon, mobile grooming, or veterinary setting
• Proficiency in cutting, breed-specific styling, and deshedding a variety of dog breeds. Experience with cats is a plus.
• Confident grooming pets of all sizes and temperaments, including anxious animals
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and skilled at time management
• Capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 60 pounds, and performing repetitive motions
• Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Experience in mobile grooming is preferred but not required
