Key Responsibilities

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will :

Provide direct care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery

Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor using appropriate technology and assessments

Administer medications and assist with epidurals and other pain management methods

Support obstetricians during deliveries, including both vaginal and cesarean births

Educate patients and families on postnatal care and newborn health

Document patient status, care, and interventions accurately in the EHR system

Ensure a safe and comforting environment for mothers and newborns

Respond swiftly to emergency situations with clinical expertise

Qualifications

Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

BLS , ACLS , and NRP certifications required

1+ year of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

Passion for maternal-child health and family-centered care
