METRC & Label Specialist

IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

STATUS : Hourly TECH LEVEL : Specialist Rate : $18.00 +

REPORTS TO : METRC Supervisor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a detail-oriented METRC & Label Specialist to ensure all cannabis product labels comply with state and federal regulations while maintaining brand consistency and clarity for consumers. This specialist position acts as an extension of the Compliance Department , which collaborates with the entire facility . This position will work primarily in collaboration with all manufacturing packaging leaders. Proficiencies in standard computer software, attention to detail, ability to do conversions, and multitasking skills are required for this position.

III. JOB DUTIES

Ensure all manufacturing labels meet state and federal cannabis regulations, including required warnings, ingredient lists, batch numbers, and potency information.

Review and approve product labels for accuracy, legibility, and compliance before printing and application.

Troubleshoot and recalibrate Zebra printer as necessary.

Receive daily paperwork indicating which batches need to have labels created.

Track and self-report misprints or duplicated labels for reimbursement

Assist in internal compliance audits across all licenses

Familiarize yourself with compliant packaging and call out any discrepancies

Check for incoming item approvals and update Approval Numbers spreadsheet.

Assist with other tasks as directed by the Metrc Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 21 years old

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

High School Diploma required, Some College Preferred

Must have reliable transportation
