Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled and motivated Contract Project Manager in Canton, Georgia . In a Contract Project Manager job you’ll be responsible for :

  • Managing the installation of manufacturing process equipment, including foundations, rigging, and commissioning.
  • Overseeing utility upgrades, such as compressed air, exhaust systems, and electrical components.
  • Developing detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Conducting quality checks throughout the installation process.
  • Ensuring activities comply with safety standards and industry regulations.

What you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience managing industrial projects involving equipment installation and utilities.
  • Strong background in construction safety, quality control, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Excel).
  • Experience managing multiple vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
