Job Summary :

Ally Waste is hiring for the exciting Waste Leveler position, a fundamental role that delivers our waste support services to the apartment communities we serve. The Waste Leveler role consists of redistributing trash flow, cleaning up around dumpsters and compactors, and maintaining detailed reports. Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Using a company truck, drive to 10-15 properties daily on the assigned route
  • Check in, take photos, and document bulky items / furniture at each property using our proprietary app
  • Sweep up around each dumpster or compactor
  • Break down large boxes and ensure proper recycling practices are being followed
  • Where necessary, move trash bags from one dumpster to another to eliminate overflowing trash
  • Work quickly and efficiently to complete the route before the waste hauler arrives

Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs at a time
  • Must be able to get in and out of the truck hundreds of times throughout the shift
  • Must be able to move quickly using a broom and dust pan
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle safely for 8+ hours at a time
  • Must be able to start at 3 : 30 am
  • Must have a valid driver's license (non-CDL) and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 2 years or more than 2 minor violations, including a handheld device in the last 3 years).
  • Must have two consecutive years of driving in the USA
