Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Martinsburg, WV 25401 (West Virginia nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract

Start Date : November 26, 2025

End Date : February 25, 2026

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : As scheduled, based on unit needs

Setting : 40-bed Emergency Department (trauma bays, psych / seclusion rooms)

EMR System : EPIC

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1860 - $2000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

BSN required

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a similar size / volume facility

Prior travel nursing experience required

Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC

CEN, TCRN, and CPEN certifications preferred

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Valid, unexpired driver’s license (must reside outside 50 miles from facility)

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Manage a 1 : 4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Respond to trauma, cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, and medical emergencies

Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Operate advanced clinical equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems

Perform lab draws, IV insertions, wound care, and other nursing procedures

Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR

Comply with hospital policies (navy blue scrubs, natural hair color, tattoos covered)

Participate in orientation (1-2 shifts based on experience)

Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
