Security Officer Hiring Event

Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Officers on Monday, November 3rd, and Tuesday, November 4th, from 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM. Meet with Hiring Managers for Flex, Full-Time, and Part-Time positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in the Burr Ridge, Illinois area. Various days and shifts are available with a pay rate of $18.50 / hr, with weekly pay.

Location of event : SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Southwest 90 North Frontage Road, Burr Ridge, Illinois

This is a walk-in event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers. Please complete an application prior to the event on our career page.

Requirements :

• Be able to obtain a valid PERC card.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Security officer, law enforcement, and / or military experience is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen pre-hire.
• Must have availability to work all shifts, mornings, evenings, and overnights for Flex positions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must regularly walk or stand for extended periods of time and distance.
• Exceptional report writing skills.

Qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security (part-time and flex).

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Education Requirements (All) High School diploma or equivalent Certification Requirements (All) PERC Card CPR / 1st Aid
