Job Description The Emergency Department (ED) is a fast-paced environment that treats patients across all acuity levels — from urgent care to critical trauma cases. ED nurses perform critical care skills including :

Medication titrations

Management of arterial lines

Massive blood transfusions

Chest tube care

Requirements Minimum 3 years of ER experience – Required

Current RN license in the District of Columbia – Required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC – Required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

BSN – Highly Desired

Cerner Experience – Required
