Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of the store and Associates. Follows NFI policies and applicable federal, state and local laws. Assign and direct work Address complaints and resolves problems High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Possess product knowledge of hardware related products Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence Present information and respond to questions from customers or associates Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) This position has no required certifications, licenses, or registrations Slip resistant shoes with closed toe and heel Safety Cutter Knives Apron Uniform per store policy Stand Walk Use hands to finger, handle, or feel Reach with hands and arms Communicate with associates and customers Lift and / or move up to 25 pounds Climb Balance Stoop Kneel Crouch Lift and / or move up to 50 pounds Sit Overhead lifting Crawl Smell Lift and / or move up to 100 pounds Close Distance Ability to adjust focus Ability to distinguish colors Outside weather conditions Work in high places Fumes or airborne particles Toxic or caustic chemicals Risk of electrical shock Moderate in most areas High in areas with lumber processing equipment Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical and Dependent Care) Life Insurance Voluntary Benefits Paid Time Off Retirement Plans Employee Assistance Program
Store Manager
To assist the Store Management in ensuring and maintaining Genuine Customer Care, accountable for the operation of the store insuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly
- Assist in managing total store operating
- Assure front end is providing customers with quick friendly service
- Build and fill displays
- Assist in keeping backroom neat and up to best practices standards
- Assist in handling all associate issues
- Assist in handling customer issues
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed by all Associates.
- Other duties as assigned
