This position serves as a registered cardiac sonographer in the echocardiography laboratory and at the cardiology satellite offices. The cardiac sonographer II is required to perform all aspects of an echocardiographic exam, have a strong knowledge of cardiac pathology / echo equipment and work with students / staff. The cardiac sonographer II also contributes skills to assist with an efficient operation of the department. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education
High School Equivalent / GED (Required) andGraduate of an approved Cardiovascular Technology Program (Required) orGraduate of an approved Sonography Program with cross-training in echocardiography (Required)Work Experience
2+ years Experience in echo, preferably in a tertiary care setting (Required)Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong knowledge of cardiac pathology.
