What This Job Involves
As the Account Chief Operating Officer in the BioPharma sector, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of key client accounts, ensuring seamless delivery of services, and driving strategic growth. You will work closely with senior leadership to align operational strategies with business objectives, optimize resource allocation, and enhance client satisfaction while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Look Like
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support account growth and profitability
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned client accounts, ensuring service excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for account operations
- Lead resource planning and allocation to meet client demands and project timelines
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and client stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Manage and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to address operational concerns and opportunities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in BioPharma or life sciences industry, with at least 5 years in a senior operational roleProven track record of successfully managing large, complex client accounts or programsStrong understanding of BioPharma business processes and operational challengesExcellent leadership and team management skillsSuperior analytical and problem-solving abilitiesOutstanding communication and presentation skillsAbility to influence and negotiate at senior levels, both internally and with clientsDemonstrated experience in driving operational excellence and process improvementsProficiency in data analysis and performance metricsStrong financial acumen and experience in budget managementAdaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visitsPreferred Qualifications
Experience in managing large-scale BioPharma accounts or projectsKnowledge of pharmaceutical industry trends, challenges, and regulatory landscapeFamiliarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma)Understanding of GMP, FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standardsExperience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data analytics toolsProficiency in financial modeling and budgeting for complex accountsKnowledge of supply chain management in the pharmaceutical industryFamiliarity with quality management systems and risk management frameworksExperience with client relationship management tools and techniquesEstimated Compensation For This Position
174,900.00 - 214,200.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
