As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol in Laguna Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with all individuals on-site. Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Document and report security-related incidents, unusual conditions, and maintenance concerns observed during patrols.

Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with established procedures for the healthcare location.

Support Allied Universal in providing a visible presence and upholding a welcoming environment while addressing security-related matters in accordance with training and protocols.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
