Associate Director, Regulatory Data Governance Lead

In this role, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of regulatory data governance, ensuring data quality, compliance, and alignment with strategic business requirements. You will oversee regulatory master and transactional data across multiple systems, including during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to governance standards. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, balancing technical expertise with strategic insight, and influencing stakeholders across a highly federated organization. You will define and monitor data quality metrics, maintain a comprehensive data catalog, and drive best practices in metadata management. This role combines analytical rigor, leadership, and process excellence in a dynamic and regulated environment.

Accountabilities :

• Lead regulatory data governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy, industry standards, and evolving health authority expectations.
• Oversee regulatory data quality, including master and transactional data, and maintain comprehensive metadata and data catalogs.
• Manage data integration, migration, and remediation activities during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring consistent quality and compliance.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, assign roles, and monitor metrics to track usability, compliance, and overall data health.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of data stewardship practices, conduct training, and support change management initiatives.
• Support regulatory intelligence, system roadmap planning, and architecture design related to data governance.
• Track and mitigate data-related risks, and share lessons learned to improve future initiatives.
