Position : Registered Nurse (RN) -Dialysis\nLocation : Leighton\n\nRegistered Nurse (RN), Dialysis Where We Are\n\nFlorence, Alabama is situated in Northwestern Alabama, where the Tennessee River Flows through the scenic Shoals. On your days off spend some time fishing and boating on Wilson Lake.   • Professional development and growth opportunities\nDepartment / Unit Summary\n\nSurgical Services at North Alabama Medical Center consists of 15 surgical suites, 6 Endoscopy Rooms, 6 private Pre-Admission Testing rooms, and 30 same day surgery rooms. Our surgical team consists of specially trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technologists, certified nurse anesthetists and other highly trained professionals. Additional requirements include : \n
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.\n
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.\n
  • One year of experience preferred\nWhat You Will Do\n
  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.\n
  • Plans and documents patient care given.\n
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.\n
  • Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention process.\n
  • Demonstrates professional and personal development.\n
  • Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient served including adult and geriatric patients.\n
